Summer Camp

We have many summer camps to choose from.  The camps range from 1st grade to Sr High camps.  Starting with cabin camp, horse, fishing, paintball, mission work, and Camp on the Rock.  Our mission is to be an extension of Christ’s Church and provide an environment for having a better relationship with Jesus Christ.  Dayton Oaks 2025 summer camp brochure will be available by February 2025.  Please contact us to be added to our mailing list.

BAF Discount

 If you bring a friend who has never been to Dayton Oaks, you will get $25 off your camp cost, and your friend gets $25 off their camp cost.

CAMP STORE

Camp store punch cards.  Can be purchased in any amount.  Punch cards do not expire.  Balance on punch cards can be donated to the summer camp scholarship offering, passed on to another camper, or keep it for next summer.

Theme- Rooted in Christ 

Paintball Camp is an active outdoor camp for those who love the outdoors & paintball. Campers have missions based on movies. The campers will participate in worship services, swimming, hiking, games, presentations, the daily dare, guest speakers and much more.  Paintball permission forms found on printables page.

Cabin Camp - campers stay in one of our cabins located within walking distance of the lodge. Shower houses are also within walking distance of the cabins. Campers will have many activities including swimming, worship, hiking, presentations, campfires, crafts, guest speakers and so much more. This will be a chance to come grow in your walk with Jesus.

Horse Camp Horse camp has changed for the better!  Campers will no longer be taken off site to the horse arena. The horses will be on site to better serve the campers of Dayton Oaks. You will ride horses each day along with horse related activities geared toward your inner cowboy or cowgirl. Be sure to bring your long pants and shoes or boots for riding. Each camp is limited to 10 campers each week.

Mission Work Camp is a summer camp based on servanthood to the camp.  Your mission will be to complete camp projects.  For summer 2024 we will be remodeling Cabin 3. You will start your day with a great breakfast and work on projects until lunch. After lunch you will have time for devotions, hiking, campfires, swimming, worship, games and many other activities that go along with summer camp. There may also be guest speakers that are working in the missions field.

Fishing Camp consists of 3 hours of fishing in local lakes, creeks, and streams. Be sure to bring your pole & gear. Any fishing camper age 16+ needs to purchase an Iowa Fishing License in order to fish.

Camp on the Rock is set up with huddle families that will teach the campers throughout the week. The youth will experience worship services that will resemble a christian rock concert. Thursday night there will be a reenactment of the crucifixion.

Please note all food allergies must be listed on the registration form.  Any diet choices that are not an allergy or doctor prescribed must be talked over with our Program Director before registering your child for camp.  Our staff will do their very best to accommodate all food preferences.

Please notice that all campers must be potty trained to attend any camp at Dayton Oaks.

Register by May 1st for early bird pricing.  Cost of camp will increase $25 after May 1st.

All summer camps start at 4pm & end at 4pm.  No early check ins.

Lost and found items left at Dayton Oaks will be donated if not claimed.
